This moment
This moment.
(My dad and Kadin playing chess via Skype. Do note that they're making the same expression while concentrating. Fun fact. My son and my father are not biologically related.)
I guess it's the modern day version of correspondence chess! I was glad we had an old board so I could draw the grid on it so Kadin could understand what was going on and they could call their moves out to each other. The game took about an hour, too, because they both did pretty well!
It's a really great option for people who can't be in touch in person. It's definitely different especially for the grandparents to actually see the kids as they are at whatever point. And it also forces me to tidy the room!
Lovely photo!
